Palmetto Studios begins "First Saturdays" art parties with graffiti-themed bash (Update: Video)

First report: Starting 8 p.m. on Saturday night, the Palmetto Studios Art Alliance will host a Graffiti Art Party near downtown Myrtle Beach. The Grand Strand Humane society will be the benefactor in this first of a series of charitable events.
Music will be a combination of live percussion and DJ's while the crowd participates in "adult beverages" and prize raffles. There will be plenty of art created as body painting and other fun activities are planned. If you think you'll be headed to the party, why not RSVP on Facebook?
Event organizers are also looking for a videographer to capture the event.
