Former Ace Hardware owner opening a new store in Myrtle Beach (update: now open)

Update 6/17: Hometown Hardware is now open according to The Sun News

First Report 4/21: Bill Clarke's Ace Hardware store on the North end of Myrtle Beach hasn't been closed for long. Folks may have written it off as another victim of the economy. But Bill hasn't given up.

In fact, he's just moving down the street to the 39th Avenue shopping center and opening another hardware store. SCNow.com has more details about what caused Bill to close the Ace store and his plans for the new one. Check it out.

Bill's Hometown Hardware will be right beside the Sunray Healthy Market. That along with Burky's Diner will definitely revitalize the old Winn-Dixie space that has been seemingly dormant for so long. What do you think? Comment below.
