North Myrtle Beach Chamber following Myrtle Beach CVB lead
The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce has formed a non-profit entity to make fundraising programs more enticing to donors looking for tax deductions.

This is very similar to the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce's corporate structure. Which has the Myrtle Beach Commerce Center as their for-profit entity used exclusively to conduct business with the tax-exempt 501(c)(6) Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC).

The North Myrtle Beach Chamber is no stranger to taking pages from the MBACC playbook. Just over a year ago they were lobbying for a 1 percent tourism development sales tax.
