On Saturday July 14, 2012, the Citadel Men's Golf Team will be hosting a charity golf tournament at Black Bear Golf Club to help raise money to provide a service dog to a teen with diabetes

They are partnering up with "A Dog For Kate" foundation to raise money for 16 year-old, type 1 diabetic Luke Varadi. The money raised will be used for a Diabetic Alert Dog that can smell when Luke's blood sugar level is high or low early and alert Luke.

The tournament is a four man (or women or mixed) "Captain's Choice." The cost is $60 per person or  $240 per team. This includes golf, prizes, and lunch. For more information email Rick Wilkinson at wilkinsonp1@citadel.edu or call at 843 877 2492. You can also visit the website www.adogforkate.com. Hope to see y'all there.
