Horry County teachers may get raise after all

The news looks a little better for teacher salaries in the 2012-2013 school year after rumors that they may get a cut in the form of working two days next year without pay.

According to this Sun New report, most teachers would receive a two-percent salary increase.  Others due for a STEP raise would get a larger percentage.  The final budget is due by the end of this month and cuts in other areas to cover the pay increase are a possibility.
