Heads up: The date is now July 21st. Same location.

First report: The guy who brought Myrtle Beach Beer Fest to the masses and a slew of other events around the Grand Strand is teaming up with the House of Blues this July for a summertime fest called Brews-a-Palooza.

Riffing off the legendary summer music festival, Lollapalooza, Brews-a-Palooza will have music, but the star of the event is, of course, beer! There will be 50 craft brews to choose from, but before you have too many, you'll have to check out the free buffet from 5 to 6 p.m. The name couldn't have 'Palooza' in it without music, right? So there will be live music from a band all the way from Australia, LongReef.
