Berkeley County Sheriff's Deputies have fired about a dozen canisters of tear gas in an effort to get the suicidal man to exit his home
The suspect continues to baffle deputies with his refusal to leave the home despite the fact that the house no longer has any power, water and is full of tear gas.

Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies are 26 hours into a standoff situation with a suicidal suspect that began about 10 a.m. on Thursday morning.
The suspect has two or three weapons in the house, and has been threatening suicide at his 106 Netherfield Drive home on the Berkeley County side of Interstate 26.
