Update March 10: The Charleston team's recipe for "Confetti Soup" has been chosen as one of the 15 semifinalists in the national competition to create healthier school lunches.

First reporting: With a drive to make school cafeteria lunches more nutritious and delicious, a handful of passionate Charlestonians have entered a challenege called 'The Recipes for Healthy Kids' spearheaded by first lady Michelle Obama.
To see which recipes would pass a preliminary taste test, the team tested out four of their potential recipes on Burke High School students on Wednesday afternoon.
