After leaving a trail of weather bruising across much of the U.S., a line of storms will trail into the Lowcountry this morning (radar map below) where it is expected to bring a smattering of fun:
- Wind gusts of up to 40 MPH;
- Heavy rain and thunderstorms;
- High waves of five to six feet; and
- Last but not least, strong rip currents.
Expect rain to start by 4 a.m. and pick up around 7, with the worst of the rain and lightning to hit before 2 p.m. with cooler temperatures following — the high for Wednesday is expected to be in the mid-60s.
